- Create features. Improve Locatee Analytics and help our customers to make even better decisions. Work on new features on a modern stack, from discovery to refinement to implementation. You’ll be working with Angular, Java Spring Boot, Github Actions, Docker, Kubernetes and Google Cloud. We keep our stack modern and fun to work with.
- Be a great team member. Do code reviews and story kickoffs. Pair with other engineers. Help to triage and fix bugs. Learn and share knowledge.
- Work on developer experience. Manage technical debt. Improve code maintainability. Simplify processes and tooling. Keep Locatee a great place to work and our product fast and stable.
- Experience in web development. You have professional experience with developing web applications and understand all the moving parts (Typescript/HTML/CSS/Rest/HTTP/Browser APIs). You have designed, built, and maintained projects or features that have been deployed to production. Bonus: You have Angular experience.
- You enjoy working across the front- and backend. We hardly ever have a task that is clear cut along frontend/backend lines. You feel comfortable working in Java or .Net code, do changes in a Docker file or add write an SQL statement. You do not think "not my department", but welcome the opportunity to venture out of your comfort zone. Bonus: You have Spring Boot experience.
- Passion about building quality products. You know how to write maintainable code. You care about technical debt. You have written enough unit and integration tests to have a taste of what a good test looks like. You understand the value and cost of abstraction, are versed in current architectural practices, and judiciously apply programming principles.

4. Meet Locatee. We have a coffee break together where we invite everyone from Locatee. Not everyone is joining though but everyone who is not in a meeting or focus time will join. This is a great and informal way to also meet Locatee employees from other departments.
5. Meet a cofounder. We are a startup with flat hierarchies. The meeting gives you the chance to chat with our cofounders.
6. Decision. You’ll always hear back from us – we manually review and respond to every candidate’s application. If the hiring committee has agreed to hire you, you’ll receive an official offer to join our team.
7. Onboarding and mentorship. When joining Locatee, you will get your notebook of choice (MacBook or Thinkpad).
